for some reason the bolt holes in the bottom always seem to be a bit off, I normally just drill the three outside holes one size bigger before I mount them just to save on the grief

How many of those tractors have you rebuilt? I should have bought my cousin's 1951 8N and sent it down to you.. I let it pass though.. Bugger...

this will be my 18th Farmall, I mostly refurbish Allis Chalmers and Fords, but I have a soft spot in my heart for these little Farmall cubs.

Got the front axle off and pulled the bolster. Replaced front crank seal and washed down the block.

while I was waiting for the block to dry I shot one of the front rims that I cleaned up yesterday with a coat of paint.

shot the block with primer, cleaned my paint gun and going in for dinner....tomorrow is another day.

Doc, it seems you do enough work on your "stuff" to cover for ALL of us !! YOU are a busy, busy man. Glad to see your healthy to do it. Maybe, one day you'll be finished, and you too, can sit back and watch the grass grow !!

WELLLL here we are knockin on 113,000 , this week-end should add quite a few digits, HMmm... looks like my guesstimate of 116,666 might be feasible after all. Time will tell, ....... :laughing:
