Gooooood Mornin' Lawn World......
Whoopie! Fall has come at last.. heavy frost inland this morning, low 30's here right along the coast.
I picked almost ten gallons of delicious concord grapes yesterday over at my buddies house and got about 8 quarts of juice from them. I've already started making grape jelly. I ought to end up with 18 to 20 pints when all is said and done.
Stats for the day are as follows. (However, this does not take into account whatever manipulating of the numbers that Boo-Boo may or may not have done..)
Views estimate via the 20 day running average - 114,564
Views estimate via the 350 day running average - 110,620
Views estimate via Boo-Boo's manipulated numbers - 111,110 or 111,111

So,I went to the farm supply store yesterday to pick up some winter rye grass seed for the newly spread dirt
on some sloping areas of my back 40.
The guy asked me if the grass was for erosion control.
I said that it was.
"Is your ground level?" he inquired....
I wanted to offer him his Jim Foxworthy sign................

I've had a 14yd pile of topsoil callin' my name for a while now.
With the return of cooler days, I've been whittling on it a bit.
I am again thankful for owning an adjustable shovel....

As we can get it here , you should be able to get it there.
Seeds can be bought with various glue coatings tp prevent them being blow or washed away.
As a by-product most birds leave the funny coloured seeds alone
