I'm being tortured by my Simplicity Broadmoor 22/44 with push button start.
I recently replaced the battery with one that is a little more powerful than the original (300 cca vs 220 cca).
After replacing the machine started, ran, mowed and stopped normally.
When I went to restart it wouldn't crank. No power to the push button switch.
He's what's strange to me. If I disconnect the neg battery wire and reconnect it the start switch button will light up without pushing it. When I push the button the machine will start, run, mow and shut off normally. Then it won't restart until I disconnect and reconnect the negitive battery wire.
When I reconnect the neg wire I get a spark as if a circuit is engaged and I can hear the relay switching.
Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance
