I do not know of anyone that will even show up for less than $30
I don't care if it takes 15 mins I still would not drop under your per yard fee.

I think pricing a lawn depends a lot on the area you are in. There are a lot of guys around here that are getting 15 and 20$ a cut on there lawns. Not every area will stand 30 and 40$ pricing, people aren't willing to pay that much in some locations.

Probably can vary from one side of town to the other would be my guess

Yeah it really can vary. One side of town that has High class housing VS the other side with maybe $150.000 homes the pricing will be a lot different and it should. There's alot of things for me that can make a price lower or higher just depends on the situation.

Personally I'd rather do more of the "blue collar" areas. They generally seem more in tune with the understanding of a guy working hard and for the most part are down to earth people from hard working family's

True, grew up working construction and always seemed the higher priced the home was the harder the builder/new owners were to work with.

I'm looking at picking up a few yards to do this next season. Hoping to find sone rentals that the tenants don't want to deal with buying the equip and taking the time to mow the yards. Most likely I'd be able to just side discharge or mulch. On an average sized yard I'm thinking I could have it cut trimmed and sidewalks blown off within 30-45 mins. Is $15 a fair price for that? I'm just doing it on the side for "beer money"
I am only know our market and if you charge less than $35.00 your too cheap. I price small 5500-9000 ft yards at that and almost always add them as a customer. But be warned renters unlike homeowners move out in the middle of the night with out paying you. Make em leave you a check under door mat.

Did some "research" when I trimmed a hedge this weekend. It was basically just cleaning up a long square juniper fence. She had been paying a guy 25 to mow. No trimming/blowing. Average sized yard so I shot her a price of $20. Think I got my first customer for next year. Best part is that its 5 mins from my place. On yards that can be done in 30-45 mins in my area bring 15-25 per cut it seems.

This Is just something I'm doing on the side on weekend mornings since the other half works overnights and she doesn't get up for the day till mid-afternoon. Equip is my brothers that he didn't want to take with when he relocated for work. So don't have much overhead costs

Its not even worth it for $15 unless you are mowing your neighbors yard as a favor.
