I paid $25 for this self propelled Snapper from Craigs list last summer. It runs good. :dance1:

Prices are hard to set. Check Craig's List for your area to get a good idea of where to start. I had a 21" with bag, side discharge, mulch cover, de-thatcher, new wheels all around, good belts and blade, and a Honda GCV160 I'd put on it. I sold the whole set up for $200 last summer.

Yes, it is good to check Craigslist, but you have to be careful of people not knowing what a good price is. For example (now I am exaggerating here, but you get the point), I could price my 6 year old Honda for $800 on Craiglist, and that is obviously too high. If you check out Craigslist to get a general idea and you see the $800 Honda, you might say, "OK, I will sell my old Snapper for $700!". Obviously, that is too high, and if you put your mower up for that much, no one will buy it! So check a LOT of items on Craigslist and find the average...some people don't know how to price a used mower!

Did you see the add with two snappers $500 for both or $300 each?
I would try and get $150

I got my 1986 21401P from its original owner in original garage-kept condition, with new belts too, for free. He said it didn't run but a little new gas and jet screw adjustment and it runs good as new. He should have asked $150. Your model in less pristine condition I would maybe pay $75 for. That's my two cents.
