Yes reverse works fine, replaced drive belt when I did engine replacement
Then why you say you have Reverse Inhibit Operation problem as that only affect when have the PTO in engaged and you try to backup without using the bypass switch? This has nothing to do with engine other than killing the ignition in reverse. And relay stay latch up until you are out reverse.

That's the problem, cant back up with the pto engaged with Rio button depressed or even when I bypassed the button, kills the engine either way

Then the RIO relay is not operating. Either the ground or +12 VDC is not there that operate the relay; or the relay itself is bad.

As for where the relay located, it appears to be in the operator control tower [the section with the steering wheel and control switches]. And it going to tight in there.

Well I see you are just throwing at it as the seat switch has nothing to do the reverse inhibit working as intended. It is just that you can't get the relay to operate to bypass the inhibit mode.

You should always test things before ordering parts that is why I posted the electrical schematic for the mower.

I currently working on a golf cart that parts were thrown at it and the one that did it royally screwed things up. Spent 4 hrs Saturday figuring out what he done. Customer is getting billed at $80 per hour for the labor when it started out with a bad ignition switch. If tests were done first it would cost the customer much less than me having to straighten out the resulting mess.

Very frustrating going behind a customer that works on equipment and doesn’t fix it. Then you have to dig out what they have done.

It isn't like I haven't scream as loud as I can at times or gone out and shot my pond water full of 12 ga holes and then called them idiots privately. After 15 yrs I don't get that angry anymore just charge more for straighten out the mess.

I had one customer many years ago to change out the starter, remote solenoid, the stator and voltage regulator, and the keyswitch to only finally brought it in where I it was a simple 50 cent wire terminal problem. $450 down the drain before my bill for an hour of labor and the 50 cents terminal. My was a 1/6 of he wasted trying to fix it himself. What worst he had thrown away all the good parts he replaced.
