Post your trailer setup

The trailer set up one uses basically is determined by the work they do and the location they live in I think. For instance a guy tht uses a push mower and small equipment can get by with a small trailer and nothing more. I see a guy in my area tht has a tractor type lawn mower and pulls a small trailer with the lawn mower with his trimmer and gas cans and hand held blower in it. On the other hand we pull a 16' V nosed cargo trailer with all of the equipment we need to do whatever we are doing. Most times in the Summer it has 2 zero turns, two sets of hedge trimmers, a chainsaw, pole saw, two string trimmers, a back pack blower, an edger, a couple of hand held blowers and gas cans. Also some tools, an air compressor and other supplies. Some times we still run up on something that we need that we don't have...... Or have to go home and unload something and load something in its place to get a job done.

Load capacity should be the first thing you should look at when purchasing a trailer, making sure it will carry what your going to be hauling and how much it weighs. Load capacity's don't necessarily have anything to do with the size of the trailer.
 
Ya my trailer is small but its rated for 2500 pounds :) so I will never be afraid of loading it up. Down side to my trailer is I can never get anything bigger than 40" wide in there
 
Very important to know how much a trailer can handle and what your putting on it weighs.
I put a counter weight off of a case excavator on a 5x10 trailer as soon as all the weight was on the trailer it blew the tires off the rims and folded the trailer in half. Was the hard way to find out it weighed 10,000 pounds and the trailer would not hold it.

Ouch.... I have regular trailer tires on mine right now I am going to see about putting some truck tires on it a little closer to the size of my truck tires for weight reasons and wear reasons remember if your trailer tires are smaller than your truck tires they wear faster ;)

You should replace your tires with the same size and load range tire that's on it when it was purchased new. Your trailer just like your truck is set up for the GVWR.
 
You don't think some regular 7ply tires wouldn't be better? Guess if of better to keep oem than that saves me a chunk of change
