Yes it is an F. It is the same engine but not the same mower. That one is self propelled and a Blade Brake Clutch model and brand new. Also it is a 1982 model and brand new! Like i said bring your money bags!

That R8240 LawnBoy is NOT new and has missing parts.
But it is as close to new as possible, maybe..
I do not trust eBay.
Whatever happened to truthfulness and honesty ?
There is another 8240 for sale, $100, used, of course, and I'll bet the "new" one needs $100 in parts...
But, admittedly, I do exaggerate some...

That is messed up. I hate scammers. The worst are on CL. Very shaky dealing on that site.

Yes, but at least you can physically touch and inspect the local item before you buy on CL, not so on fleabay. CL is the only way I would deal for expensive items. Fleabay has a cost to the seller plus shipping charges, that you have none of on CL, since you can deal locally. I have bought many items in good condition, inexpensively from CL and never have I had a bad experience.

Just curious? What is so special about this mower making it worth big money?

That's what I want to know. Does it make coffee?

Sent from my iPhone using LMF

Those old Lawnboys never made coffee, they never needed any.

Trailing shield is clearly used. Nice mower none the less. Some collector with more money that cerebrum will drop several hundred on it.

That is one of life's mysteries. There is truth to this : a fool and his money are soon parted, as I know all too well.

It is strange ,but it is a guy thing. Like a Hank Hill(A great American!!) type of thing. One mans trash is another man's treasure. Chicks ? They would never get it. I mean, to them ,it's like ,"How could a dude get exited about mowing a lawn" ? I love old Muscle cars , Motocycles,Guitars, Led Zeppelin ,anything with a 2 stroke motor !!! down to a little RC car or the incredible 1974 Yamaha RD350 ,1977 RD400 or 1984 RZ350 !
