Hello. I have a toro super recycler model number 20465 ( 1997 model ) and it has developed a bad oil leak at the crank case seal. I'm mechanically inclined so fixing it is not a problem. The only problem i have is i've never torn into one of these mowers before and i can't find any service manuals for it. Has anyone ever had this issue before or know where i can find a service repair manual for it?

Well, it is an engine problem, so you need to look there.

Pull out the old seal with a small screw and install a new seal.

Thanks for the input everyone. Is it really as easy as removing the engine and separating the two and replacing the seal?

I guess I don't understand what hitting it with a big club will do other then breaking something, use a BFH and you can do more damage????? :confused2: If its the seal I am thinking about it should be replaceable without pulling the engine but might easier by doing so. OR JUST HIT IT WITH A BIG CLUB????
