No Place to carry anything, Solutions?

I understand why ride on mowers don't allow a second person on the mower. but what about a basket attachment for picking up anything in the mower path? I've chopped up things, just because there's no where to carry anything on a mower. I've regretted chopping up news paper thrown in the yard.

Thanks for your replies,

Vern

Depending on the mower you could weld up an atv rack and bolt it on.

Just hang a trash bag or a shopping bag some where on your mower

An ammo box mounted to the mower works good for carrying trimmer line and small tools.

I vote for the milk crate. The price is right. Bout the right amount of time spent on the build. Beautiful plan !

There are companys or mower manufacturers that make cup holders and debris bags for there mowers, not sure of the cost but I know Toro makes them. These are for the Grandstand.

If you mow the way you are supposed to or the proper way you should walk the property first and pick up any trash or debris before you start mowing, that way you're not chopping up news paper thrown in the yard or tree branches or god knows what. It's easier on the mower deck and blades.

Another thing you can buy if you have a ride on mower and LT or ZTR and I used is a seat cover. You can get those with four or five pockets to keep tools and your gear within reach and use the large pocket for papers and those dang small signs the pest control company's leave.

I agree with this even with bigger properties walk around a section at a time its much better for the machine.

Pine cones are my least favorite

I don't mind pine cones or even golf balls.

What I hate are them dang sweet gum balls or any kind of nuts

(( racing is the only sport that you need two balls ))
