Need Help Finding Manual

I need to be able to print it off like the owners manual. The parking brake is missing. No lever to engage parking brake.

When did they start that? I have gotten owner manuals with parts breakdown in them also from the mtd manual site. I need a parts manual too.

After thinking about it I have seen some with parts diagrams, and some without. Mostly without. One thing that always bugged me about MTD was if there was an error in the parts diagram, they never fixed it. Even with electronic online diagrams.

14aj844h401 doesnt have the pto lever. It has a pull n push pto switch. Can someone provide a model number that has the pto lever.

The model number I posted is the only 14aj844 that MTD shows on there parts breakdown, and it shows parts for the electric, and the manual pto. The engagement lever is item 33 on the hood, throttle parts breakdown page.

Im back looking for the right parts manual for this. This mower has hi lo stop n go transaxle. Has 4 system indicator lights. Reverse, clutch, oil, and PTO. I also have unknown toggle switch with 2 black wires to left on of the ignition switch. The headlights are built in on the key switch.

I still dont the toggle switch. This is a 20hp briggs Lhead twin and 46in cut. This stop n go transaxle with hi and lo not hydro.

Ok skippy here is the deal the model number I gave you is for your mower. That switch your so worried about MTD did not put it there.
Maybe if you have time you can trace the wires and see where they go. I bet the don't go to anything because who ever you got it from took the lights off the mower that the switch went to.

Before you say but the web site does not show the lights that because someone added them at one time.
