Their Premium trans hydraulic oil is great, it is a comparable oil for Many tractor brands (listed on the back of the pail)... Use it in several of the larger tractors. :smile:KennyV

We use it in the sand dredge. It is good stuff and is mesha approved.

The super heavy duty oils are real good in OPE. They are rright along the same lines as the old Rotella 30 weight before they dropped the gas rating and the current Rotella 10w30 and 15w40 5w40 etc.

Thank you. I will be buying some of this in the 5w-30, 10w-30, and SAE 30. Im getting of running to walmart to get and sometimes come home empty cause they take forever to restock the shelves in the Super Tech thats by Pennzoil. Plus cost of gas also in running the full size pickup too just for oil.

What is a sand dredge or what are you dredging sand for.

A sand dredge sucks the sand off the bottom of the river. The one we built has a big Cat running a 12 inch intake 10 inch discharge pekor gravel pump. You move around the river with cables going to both sides of the river. Whenches ran by hydro. The sand and water and what other trash it picks up travel threw 10 inch pipe ( about 2000 feet ) to a tank the sand and water go three a screen and the trash hits the ground. We sell the sand to Concrete company's Years ago we was selling over a 1000 tons a week. Past five years it has dropped off so much it just was not worth keeping this old thing running. So we cut it it and sold the scrap. Good thing is the pump is worth more now for parts then it cost new 20 years ago. image-2163588422.jpg

Looks to be about the same unit as they used to get sand from sand pits in Northwest Kansas. No trash there but lots of rock to separate and all worth money in that part of the country. The water to wash it came from the pit they dug out. It just kept getting bigger over many years.

Yes the same thing. In a pit they call it dry feeding. And they run it threw a shaker box that separates everything. Have never worked at one but went to one to do mesha training.

Yep, If you go to walmart's website and search for 10w-30 Super Tech. Then look under customer questions. Someone actually asked who they get there oil from.

I don't know where they got their info from, but the supertech oil has always been made and bottled by either Warren Products (they also make the Traveler stuff available at TSC) or Exxon Mobil, depending on your location. I've seen virgin oil analysis done to both versions and you can usually tell by the elements present in their additive package who makes it.

and if memory serves me correct, the Mystik brand oil is owned and made by Citgo.
