If you want a real machine pick up one of these, I'd like to see a craftsman pull that as well as my x304
CZLawnCare,
No offense intended, but about what does an X304 cost new? Since the main purpose of a lawn tractor is to cut grass not pull stuff I've got to ask.....with a 42" "stamped deck" can you attest that it leaves as professional of a cut lawn as a ZTR(or even a lawn tractor) with a fabricated deck costing about the same??? As I eluded to earlier in this thread, I paid $1,800 for a 2006 54" Craftsman with a 10 gauge stamped deck and with a mulch kit it had a VERY even, "close to" professional cut. I was a little disappointed when I visited my JD dealer and they couldn't show me any ZTR's in the $6,000 range that had a fabricated deck. That's an awful lot of money to pay for a 9 gauge stamped deck like the Z645 they showed me. My Gravely has a reinforced 7 gauge(lifetime warranty) deck and the Bad Boy I looked at had a 5 gauge deck(that's solid 1/4 inch thick deck). I just felt like the JD's were "overpriced" for what you get.

I agree the JD's "overpriced" for what you get, half of what you're paying for is green paint and a name.

I asked one of the workers which brand they make an he pointed it out! ALL OF THEM! "We just put the body's on but they all are around about the same mower, same parts just different paint scheme and stickers! I seen reds ones green ones orange and some all aluminum housing ones to, no stickers. Take ur guess to what came out!
