There's big snow storm in forecast for northeast on Thursday/Friday this week. Temperatures dropping so its gonna be really cold when the snow hits.

The weather guy said we have a 50/50 chance this Thursday for some snow.

I'd like to see 18+ inches of snow here in the eastern panhandle wv area. There not saying how much were yet for here.

It's dumping out right now. Prob an inch in the hour I been up.

Now there saying just rain/snow showers for us now. :thumbdown:

Don't know what part of NY you are from but here North Central part of NY state we have very little snow, but cold weather. We get a lot of snow off the lake as a rule.

WNY buff/niagara. Got bout 2 inches in hour and half stopped now sun out. Another band suppose come thru later.

Just a different lake. You get your snow from Lake Erie and we get our snow from Lake Ontario. You being east of the lake will get more snow then us seeing I am south of the lake. You have to be getting the same cold weather we are having this week.

both of our major stations are saying different amounts. one is saying 4-8 and the other is saying 6-12. both numbers seem promising to mee!

Good just keep it down there, don't sent it north.

1-3 inches tomorrow night as of right now but will probably change when tomorrow gets here.

They say we are getting flurries Thursday night. Ha ha that means if you watch really carefully you could see a flake or two

You guys are lucky here in spokane we haven't gotten any snow only about 1" this year so far so I've been with no work so my savings account is.keeping us afloat lol then in the last two days my jeep ( my wifes car) the alternator seized up about ten miles from home but got that fixed not to bad took me about 2 hrs then it broke again nog excatly sure why this time something electrical and I couldn't figure it out so I took it to the shop down the road still haven't heard back about it. My furnace went out yesterday and now my check engine light is on in my truck think its o2 sensor in bay 2 and 4 that's going to be pita and my savings account is draining a little to fast for comfort lol I would like about 3 in of snow a day unrolled march

talk about bad luck! o2 sensors arnt bad to replace. just rent the socket from your auto parts store (you pay for it then when you bring the tool back they reimburse you the money) and heat the thing up like crazy. mine on my 98 cherokee had to be pretty much red to come off. its like a 10-20min job depending where the thing is located.

Ya i have the tool and I've done a few different cars o2 sensors the Titan has 6 total each cost shot 200 with my napa discount the two the computer is throwing me one is behind the block in front of the firewall really I'm not even sure how to get that one out and the other is behind the cat this one isn't hard just need to take off a skid plate and a cross member

They are calling for our first real big snow storm of the year this week. I guess that means I better put the tire chains on my snow blower.

Now its 2-7 inches snow and starting tomorrow night around 8pm.

Now there 2-4 inches of snow and suppose to at 2pm this afternoon.

Got about 4" from 9pm last night til now and still snowing. High in teens today with high in single digits tomorrow and more snow.

Hasn't stopped snowing since yesterday. Very fine crystal like snow with wind brrr. Tuff to tell how much snow we got cause its blowing and drifting everywhere. About 9 degrees out now sayin could get down to 0 tonight with a high of 8 tomorrow.

Stopped snowing here. Got like 1.5 -2in of snow. :thumbdown:

It is 28 here and we got a inch and still snowing. How am i going to cut grass tomorrow?

I have just been watching the severe weather clips on Fox News here in New Zealand (summer time) & looks like the big blizzard is going to continue for a while.
i'll be thinking of you all.

It's currently 10 degrees with a wind chill of -10. I measured, and we got 6.5" of snow! Pretty good!

We are supposed to get a little snow but the temp high for Monday is 10, and the low is going to be 1.

Possible northeaster coming with possible 2-3ft of snow. Weatherman will know more details on Tuesday.

Yea, I think thats the one. Right now TWC is just saying rain/freezing rain/sleet for 3 straight days. I think the artic air suppose to make deeper dip into southern part on the US about the same from what I heard.

Keep an eye on the weather models for 2/9/2014. Right now there showing 10-16in of snow for here.

Got about 3-4 inches today it felt good to get out and plow and shovel

Been dumping all day got at least 8" since daybreak. Still going too. Storm warning ends at 10pm tonight.

Nothing here but a light dusting for the last 5 or 6 days. GOOD, BECAUSE THE 20-30 INCHES SITTING ON THE GROUND ALREADY DOESN'T GO ANYWHERE, SINCE IT'S SO DAMN COLD! Man, I have never been so tired of dragging out the snowblower and this bitter cold. It hasn't been this bad for a few years, 2010, I think. Sunshine today, but with a high of 14°, so no break in the cold yet. Supposed to be 33° on thursday, but with snow/rain possible to make it a real mess, then deep-freeze again the next day. This sucks.

Possible snow storm coming in the area Wednesday night and Thursday. The storm models arent the same right now. Not a prediction but 6-12inches as of now. Will know more tomorrow as storm still too far away.

We getting snow tonight and tomorrow 2-3 inches then more on Thursday

Yep its hard to say the weather models keep changing everytime they show them.

I'd take the snow over the bitter cold we've had here in N/W IL. Record lows two days in a row! :shocked: -16 Monday, -22 Tuesday! but they say it's supposed to warm up in the next few days, maybe actually get above freezing. Better break out the short sleeves

They just changed that we could see as mush as 20in or more tonight and tomorrow. Snowfall of 2in an hour.

The only good thing the bitter cold has garnered us is that with the Great Lakes being frozen over, no more lake effect snow.:thumbsup:

I was really getting sick of that every other day crap.

Got 24in on the ground now. With round 2 starting around 4pm of 2-4 and round 3 Friday night of 1-3 inches of snow. Happy Valentines Day from mother nature.

We had 10" on the ground it all melted in a day lol

Woke up today we had 8 inches and now it's all gone.

We woke up to another 10 inches. It's not going anywhere. There is now a nominal 35 inches on the ground. Lower areas are at around 28, higher over 4 feet. Some drifts and piled up areas 7 feet. Walking around the house using the roof rake is fun to say the least. I need showshoes in a bad way. Took me 3½ hours using the snowblower and roof rake today. Wishin for summer.

Took that yesterday 0 in of snow and none more coming

Was 70 today soon it will be 90 were I like it

We just made it into the low forties and it was wonderful feeling the sun and seeing some tar poking through the snow covered roads.
Snow forecasted for tomorrow.

I wish we was getting snow and not under a tornado watch

Hahaha I went on vacation in san Diego no snow 80 degrees high lol I am going to now my uncles lawn ill he down here for 5 days

Eep, yeah, that's not cool. I dread that time of year, for us, that's April through August, usually. But at least when we lose power then, the house is still livable.:wink: But I don't have a basement anymore. I take it nothing bad happened Friday, no?

More coming on Sunday night and Monday. 3-6 inches of snow.

Just started snowing. We're under a blizzard warning until 2 am thurs. supposed to get +10"

Looks like its done snowing here for the season. Just having up and down temperatures from 50's to 30's/40's for daytime highs.

Boy you are lucky, I hope this is our last storm. It's 33 out side right now but they are calling for 20in of snow with high winds and temperatures in the teens. All the schools are closed and they delivered the mail early this morning. I am ready with a good supply of fire wood by the heater, snow blower full of gas, and a refrigerator full of food. Let it come.

I hope we are out of that part of winter now. We keep getting those little 2 or 3 day cooling periods though today started at 61f, and is supposed to drop to 41f with wind chills at 30f.

There's northeaster coming in on Tuesday-Wednesday so don't put your snow shovels and snowblowers away just yet.
