LT133 shifting hard (5spd)

First of all welcome.
Second please follow protocol and start a new thread labeled "F525 stops after 20' " or something similar.
This allows future searches to find information about F 525's easily and stop a lot of confusion.

Now a little more information.
If you can find it the mower model & serial number will allow people to verify their reply rather than relying upon memory
Same for the engine.
Now
What stops ?
Engine ?
Tranny ?
 
First thing I would have started a new thread if it would have let me. As I have been here for years.

All I have is the pic of the unit.
It runs fine just stops moving after 20 feet so I have been told.

The model number really does not matter.
Was just looking for some opinions of why a hydro drive would work for a few feet then stop.
I was thinking just a clogged filter. But wanted to know what others thought.
Guy only wants $150 for it.

If youhave the space, time & patience you should be ablt to turn it into $500 to $ 600 simply by breaking it down.
It just looks ugly sitting in the yard for a long time.
