Loud banging noise when starting B&S

Just for the info, did the motor have all 4 mount bolts in place? The smaller push mowers have 3, the bigger ones have 4.

No. i could see 3 in place and saw 1 missing. I put one in that spot so now it has 4.
 
If you put up the model number of the tractor, we can look and see where the fasteners like them are.
 
Was the other one you put in the motor painted with Murray red?
 
Those are used in a lot of spots, you might take a look. I usually go back with a regular bolt and locknut, so they won't fall out again.
