The saga continues. The seller sent me the right part, labeled 610832. It fits great. It clicked in really hard on the right side, so I bent the right side of the rod with pliers, like the last 1/8" or so slightly - very slightly, and this has the effect of moving the part away from the mating plastic cylinder. Works good now without needing a lot of force on either side to unclick.

The new wheels came for the front. They didn't fit right (too tight) with both felts so I used only the outer felt with both of the new washers on the outside, and reused the smaller ID inside washer. One of the shoulder bolt holes was stripped, but pretty tight still. Its been that way for a while. Helicoil time?

The mower runs really well for about 10 minutes then starts to slow down and get wimpy. Probably time for a new lower crank seal. Well, I thought I was done, LOL.

Two-stroke: you can't beat a two-cycle on hills, eh?

You can't. The four-strokes get their oil all bunched up on one side while the two-strokes stay lubed -- pressurized.
