S stihlmania Member Sep 10, 2023 #3 I just looked at my 2007 LA120 42” deck. No painted springs. Two springs for PTO, 1 on deck for belt tension and 1 on PTO lever (which is the correct length.) Plus one much longer spring for drive belt idler.

S stihlmania Member Sep 11, 2023 #5 Bert is correct, Parking brake does have a spring, hard to see but appears to be the same length but not painted. One end is not looped.
