All fixed! It was the gasket between the head and the plastic plate between the head and the carb. Runs like a champ now. On to the next! Thanks again!!

Guess what? Bought a Husqvarna today with the same motor and guess what else? SAME problem. Luckily I had ANOTHER head. Lol. Already fixed, hopefully. I'll fire it up tomorrow.

Seen that more than once. The Courage has two carb studs, but only one mounts to the block. there is a bolt that holds the other side of that plastic isolator that can work loose and cause issues.
