Kawasaki FR730V engine will try to start and when you turn the key off it hums or whines like it is still trying to start

Should be able to get a new engine for around $2300.00 even for a FX series engine. What kind of starter did you put on it OEM of after market. If you would always post the Engine model and spec. no and model and serial no of the mower it would make thing a lot easier to access the information you need.
