It just seems like most of the repair jobs I do in my shop say John Deere on them for whatever reason?? Also if I go to the salvage yard I never am not lacking for parts. I just don't see where they are any better made then another brand mower. I also find that when looking for some new parts that the only place you can buy them from is a John Deere dealer, but I find this is also true of other brand mowers also.

JD - I liked the 318 that I owned, but between that and my Ventrac ~~~~~~~ Just no comparison for my needs - I can't think of a Deere I would want instead - Sure, in addition to, but not instead !
