Is that what those winged things are called that fly around outside? We get these from time to time and I just can't stand them. Does anyone know of a way to get rid of those pests?

If it looks like a house fly on a LOT of steroids ... that's a horse fly, Had them around here when we had cows and horses, but without any large livestock they don't stay around.

They bite hard and hurt... and draw blood...
Horse flies are just gigantic flies... but a lot of fun with a badminton or tennis racket ... :smile:KennyV

I prefer a tennis racket myself, KennyV. Seriously, if they're a major problem, the sprays that work on other flying insects might kill them. Does anyone know for sure?
