Hi everyone, new to the forum and have a question and would be grateful if anyone has an answer. When the low oil level warning light comes on, how much oil is left in the sump?

In all the very many tears I have been around all sorts of engines big & small I have never had a low oil situaton. Either you are not maintaining your engine correctly or somehow crankcase oil has been lost.
Probably because no one actually knows .
The low oil warning light on most engines where fitted comes on when the oil is at the bottom of the cross hatched "add oil" region on the dip stick .
