help with pto switch

Trace circuit back to the tie points. The only one questionable wire is the GREY/WHITE which I think is just a sub for the Purple wire.

1 will be C
2 will be E
3 will be A
4 will be D

Wanted to know your logic between numbers and letters.
Still don't see how unknown bundle of wires on a terminal spade relates a single wire connection ?
