Hi,
I have a 2009 Country Clipper 60" Boss with the 26hp Kaw engine and I love it. The 26 horse is more powerful that I originally thought it would be and will power at speed through all but high wet grass. It also has the joy stick steering and tilt deck. I made some alterations to it though. I added semi pneumatic Reliance castor tires because of constantly having slow leaks and flats. My property has brambles here and there. I can't tell the difference in the ride with the semi solid tires and am well satisfied with them. NO more flats. I also removed the two pully guards on the deck. Drilled 4 holes in the bottom corners of each, and bolted 4 @ 5/8" magnets from K&J Magnetics to each. I then installed 2 allen socket headless bolts to each side in the original deck holes and left 1/2" protruding to center the guards on. Now I can remove the guards and blow off or wash the deck with ease. The guards do stay put when mowing. No slip and slide. I also connect a $20 automatic trickle charger to the battery every winter. All in all I think I made a good purchase. Starts first time every time, is easy to change blades and clean with the tilting deck, and looks good. No drink holder though.

Well, LOL, I think I have decided. I am going tomorrow to try and hash out the deal on a Country Clipper Jazee Pro DLX. It has the kohler Command Pro 27HP with the commercial cylindrical air cleaner system, a 60" deck, and a very, VERY plush seat and armrests. They tell me this seat is a $600 upgrade. It has the ZT3100 trannies, and is the twin stick not the joystick. It sits very low and has a very wide track. Everyone has said it is very stable on slopes thanks to this stance and low center o garvity. The drawback is it only has a 2 year warranty-(3 year on deck frame, and spindles) but the positives in the end outweigh that. The more I thought about it, I started thinking what was the biggest hassle all these years IMO while using/maintaining my garden tractor, and I decided it was laying on the ground trying to clean underneath my deck. Also being made an hour away is a plus as well as having a great dealer 15 minutes away. I told them today where I was $$-wise, and he told me he thinks he can get me there-which is about $1400 less than msrp. So should he hit the right number I will most likely pull the trigger. I will post pictures but not sure how. Do I need to upload them to something like photobucket 1st like a lotta other message boards?
