Has anyone used one of these and do you think this is a ok deal????

ZERO TURN CUB CADET LAWNMOWER .50 INCH. 22 H.P. HAS STEERING WHEEL. 40 HOURS LIKE NEW $2500.00

Looks just like one with the two handles but has a steering wheel not sure how you could make a Y turn

It's called the Z-Force S and it is a Zero Turn mower. Never used one but have seen them used. They say there a great slope mower.
  • The rider features dual hydrostatic transmission that provides four wheel steering with the easy-to-use steering wheel
  • Revolutionary SynchroSteer™ technology gives this zero turn rider total control on all terrain
The starting cost on the residential is I believe $3999 so $2500 would be a bad deal.

carscw, unlike Sammy I have heard positive feedback about the S series, the most frequent comment is that they are very stable and easy to use but very lame in the quality of the drive, sealed 2100's? as I understand the series did not sell well at all and when I looked at them in the spring a new one could be had for under 3k so I am tempted to say that this is nothing to jump at.

I did put a deposit on the propane version but then made the big mistake of going Exmark, from the same dealer.

Depending on which Z-Force S you buy they come with the Hydro-Gear ZT 2800 or ZT3100 Transmission w/Oil Reserve & Filter or if you're like robert and buy everything on the cheap side so you can complain you can buy one at the BBS with the EZT drive. The starting price for the residential is $3999 and the commercial is $4999

Only good review I can find is it does good on hills witch is what I need but the cons cancel that out. I lot of people said they have to purge the drive every time they mow or can't go in reverse. I think I will pass on this. I have been happy with my yard tractor but now after reading a lot on here I am ready to try a ZT I am finding it is not easy to find the right one to fit my needs. It needs to be able to hang slopes and cut 2 foot tall grass (weeds). And handle 40 hours a week of hard use
