Gravely ZTR 991083 fuel tank

I did take and post a couple of pictures. And I'm almost positive now that it's one of those safety things in the new gas cans. No holes, rubber O ring. No reason for this to be part of a Gravely fuel tank.
How about pictures of where it came from?

Oh, I see what you're talking about. No, I didn't get any pics of that. I'm pretty sure now that it's one of those safety things on a gas can.

A safety thing on a mower fuel tank?

Is it a bottom fuel dump to clean out the tank? That o-ring is there to seal an opening.

No. I'm talking about those gas cans. Plastic gas cans you buy at Walmart, with that safety nozzle.

So are you saying that sink stopper you cracked a pic of is off a mower fuel tank? Confused.......
