I own a 2011 Grasshopper 325D with Powervac Collection System. I love the complete unit but writing to ask is there a way to lower the dust and blow out from the front of deck. My 325D has the 61" duramax deck. I use the OEM medium lift blades.

A neighbor suggested I try bolting a thin strip of soft rubber to the front leading edge of the deck that would allow leaves in and contain the dust. Soft enough to fold under as the mower moves forward. Has anyone attempted this?
exactly!! if this is not done the deck will have blow outMost mowers are set up with the front of the deck a 1/4 inch to a half inch lower than the back

I had the dealer mount 24x12.00x12 bar tread replacing the 24.x12.00x12 turf tires. Viewing from either side the rear appears to be slightly lower. Does anyone know if the bar tread profile diameter is smaller than the turf. I'll take a level / tape measure or small blocks and check front to rear deck height soon. Thanks for everyone's help/suggestions.Im wondering if the deck is tiped up (lower in the rear) this could cause blow out and dust . when the grass is cut the blades push the grass to the front the accross the front to the right
