I can't help you with this one but I can suggest a way to prevent the problem in the future.
Before disconnecting anything , springs , linkages etc., using a paint touch up brush or similar , color code each connection . EXAMPLE : If you touch a spring end where it connects in a linkage hole you're done with that end . If the spring has dis-similar ends, use a different color on the second end. It makes assembly easy the next day or 3 years later.
