Estimated gas consumption ?

I am currently cutting my 1/2 acre lawn with a 15hp Kawasaki on a 36 inch eXmark. It takes about 46 minutes to do all of the cutting with this mower.

How much gas would you think the mower uses ? (not bagging)

I have a MTD with a 14.5 Briggs my tank hold 1 1/2 gallons I can 3 hours.

You say it's a 15hp Kawasaki, to determine or even guess how much gas it's going to use would depend on the type of mower it's on.

You should use close to 1/2 a gallon
My snapper push mower and two MTDs and my craftsman use about 1/2 gallon per hour
So that's a 6hp two 14.5hp and a 22hp all use about the same

If the Exmark Metro is anything like the G1336" WB I had and it had a 13hp Kawasaki I would guess for your 1/2 acre lawn you would use maybe a quart of gas. Oh and thanks for the Congrats lawn mower fanatic.
