Looking to replace the head on my 225 stringer. Have screwdriver in slot to lock shaft and cannot get heat to budge. Am turning clockwise and have tried everything including screwdriver through string hole for torque which only resulted in broken screwdriver. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

string trimmers heads undo by turning them the same direction that the head spins
So some are left hand & some are right hand .
If they undid turning the opposite direction to the blade spin then they would scre off during use .

They self tighten in use so some times can be quite hard to shift
