Deerlane-

Not yet on the level. Going to get a new belt and start from square one on the deck.

Thanks for all the help.

I have a Cub Cadet GT1554 purchased several years ago from Tractor Supply. It seems like this is out of the blue, but the idler pulley with the tensioner s[ring sits about 1/2" higher that the rest of the pulleys. Obviously, my belt won't last long. I've looked and looked and see nothing out of the ordinary. I even purchase a new pivot arm because the old one was seized, but belt is still out of alignment. I'm going View attachment 20517to try to post some pics I took last night that might make it clearer.

Just looking for some fresh eyes.
Thanks
Charles

You think this belt has a long life ahead????

Fish-

The belt is not actually touching the belt guide. That's why I showed the pics from the manual. So, I have a new pivot arm, bolt and two new idler pulleys. I'm expecting a new belt in them ail today. All the spindles appear in good shape. Going to level the deck as suggested. Hoping all this and a new belt completes the repair.

Thanks to everyone for all the comments, suggestions.
