Why did you "dump" the Nikki carb anyway ... those carbs work damn good in my opinion, and they're soooo EZZZZZZ to O/H ... do you still have it ... ???
Just because it's a new carb doesn't make it a good carb. Its not a head scratcher it's a no brainer. I just ordered a $300 plus dollar carb and installed it just to find out it was bad.
The original nikki is on the bench because its filthy right now lol. Plus it was flooding the head so it needs a float/solenoid/needle/seat/gasket/part X.
