I agree never use belt dressing especially on Kevlar belts. You may have miss aligned or worn pulleys so it best to find the cause. I didn’t even know you could buy that stuff anymore.
If understand belt dressing, they are sticky in nature. You definitely don't to use it in the mowing environment as you are constantly having fine abrasive materials getting the belt paths which cause more problems than it resolves.
