Hello all. I was wondering if somebody could clue me in about a B & S engine size (ccs, hp or cu. in.). The engine code is 124682 0112 01 010616 FA. It is an Intek I believe made in 2001. It was driving a self propelled mower when the con rod shattered at the bearing cracking the flywheel end of the case.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you Star Tech for that helpful information. As I mentioned the fly wheel end of the housing is shot as is the crankshaft and conrod. But everything else looks in good condition. I may have a crack at picking up an old 190cc B&S engine without the PTO then, like Frankenstein, cobbling something together. I really liked this mower (Rover) and would like to keep it going if possible.
Greer.

Hey Star Tech,
Given those diagrams and dimensions you posted am I correct in thinking that the basic upper crankshaft dimensions are consistent across these 190cc (6.5 hp) motors but there are variations in sizing and configuration when you exit the lower crankcase?
Thanks for any information,
Greer

Sounds like time for a repower engine from small engine warehouse or a Harbor freight clone
