Anyone use MMO or PB Blaster Tune-up?

I'm a firm believer in Marvel Mystery Oil as a additive for my gasoline and I feel it has made my Husqvarna IZ4818 run much better since I've started adding 1 oz to 2.5 gallons of gas, more power  MMO was recommended to me by a local small engine repair shop.

I also run MMO in my '08 dodge truck gas and the computer says I'm getting about 1.5 miles per gallon better gas mileage than I was prior to using it.

Another product I've seen is the PB Blaster "tune up in a can", anyone use it and what were the results?

Kind of surprised that no one responded to this thread.

I have not seen much use of mmo since the late 50's early 60's .... :smile:KennyV

I was starting to have surging and idle problems with one of my tractors. Another one was not able to idle. It would just die. It looked like it was time to tear down the carb and clean. I decided that before doing this I would try some Seafoam in the gas. After only a few hours of use the surging problem is now gone and the tractor idles fine. I haven't put enough hours on the second one to note the out come, but I'm starting to have faith.

So the answer is I have not tried MMO or PB Baster, but Seafoam seems to do a good job.

Oh, BTW, Seafoam also makes a penetrating oil spray which I find is the best I have ever used.

Just one opinion.

If you think PB Blaster is great stuff, find you a can or two of Open and Shut by Lawson Products. This stuff makes PB Blaster look like water.

Hmmmm...
Didn't see PB blaster in the YouTube video... And I could only see that something will dissolve Styrofoam faster than WD40...
An open flame will eat up a coffee cup faster than WD...

Gasoline will eat through a styrofoam cup very quickly also. Advertised as the oil that creeps is Aerokroil.
Aerokroil by Kano laboratories aerokroil.jpg is what i see used the most for loosening rusted fasteners by maintenance departments at most industrial plants I visit. Only thing about it I don't like is it has a strong odor that it emits that lingers.

Liquid Wrench, found everywhereliquidwrench.png
and Rust breaker rustbreaker.jpg are two others that I have also seen used.

WD-40 wd40.jpg which stands for Water Displacement perfected on the 40th try is good at water displacement and rust and corrosion prevention not loosening rusted fasteners.
