It's like a old car your never going to get your money back. You have to do it for the fun of it. I am going to start on a car this winter not really a restore but I guess just kinda a build. Wanted something no one else has so I found a 1971 Toyota wagon Not like me not to buy American

What model...only one I can think of would be a Corona...??? Cannot imagine trying to find parts for an import that old. I subscribe to Hemmings Classic Car magazine, and they rarely feature anything imported. How did you find what is (hopefully) a rust free edition?

It is a corona Only real rust is chrome. Drivers door has a dent I gave a man $350.00 for it. His farther died a couple of months ago so he was going to scrap all 28 cars out the back yard.

Really wanted something to restore But then found this and I know would never find parts to restore. Thinking maybe a drag car look just with out the big engine

Made a good guess, I recall back in the days after high school my girlfriend had a Datsun 1200, she really wanted a Corona but didn't have the $$. For $350 you stole that car!!!!
