So many of those Cubs seems to have spent the majority of their life running a belly mower, I have rarely seen a picture of one without that attachment.

I have about a ten year collection of "Antique Power" magazines. Always wanted to restore and old tractor myself but have too many other projects going here. Have an all original '53 Jubilee up in the barn that I was going to restore "someday"....my favorite word.

Those are great little tractors...
I have a Mott flail under my F cub...
Made a 3 point hitch for it and use to mount a rear blade... still runs perfect, It's a few years younger than yours... :smile:KennyV

I remember one from the farm it had cultivators mid, and back for center breaking rows in the garden, and crops.. Is this one close to the same as the 140?

The 140 is the big brother to this

Something I have never understood about the appeal of most antique tractors, is that except for most rare, limited production types like Hi-Crop models, after spending all the time and money to restore them, they usually end up selling for less money than was invested for the restore job. Makes me wonder.

It's like a old car your never going to get your money back. You have to do it for the fun of it. I am going to start on a car this winter not really a restore but I guess just kinda a build. Wanted something no one else has so I found a 1971 Toyota wagon Not like me not to buy American

What model...only one I can think of would be a Corona...??? Cannot imagine trying to find parts for an import that old. I subscribe to Hemmings Classic Car magazine, and they rarely feature anything imported. How did you find what is (hopefully) a rust free edition?

It is a corona Only real rust is chrome. Drivers door has a dent I gave a man $350.00 for it. His farther died a couple of months ago so he was going to scrap all 28 cars out the back yard.

Really wanted something to restore But then found this and I know would never find parts to restore. Thinking maybe a drag car look just with out the big engine

Made a good guess, I recall back in the days after high school my girlfriend had a Datsun 1200, she really wanted a Corona but didn't have the $$. For $350 you stole that car!!!!

As much as I have grown to dislike you, Carscw, that is a cool Cub, and a neat belly mower!

The fact that you like it makes me not like it anymore

That's great!

I hope you puke on it.

I have absolutely no problem offering an olive branch (which I knew you'd reject) and then sticking it up your.....well, use your imagination - it's what you're obviously good at. I've read your posts.........
