I was riding my old Murray with 18hp twin cyl. Briggs model 422707 and it just died like I had turned the key off. Checked the spark with a tester and it there was none. took the cowling off and removed the kill switch wire from the magneto/coil. Still no spark. Installed a new coil and used a business card to space it from flywheel. Sanded the rust off the flywheel and cranked it, still no spark. Removed the kill switch wire and still no spark. I'm i missing something or is my new coil just bad??

Thanks!

To me it looks like the coils is mounted upside-down.
