I got an industrial adhesive. I know.. The surface was clean. After using it a few times, so far so good.

Because it is a general adhesive question, not a specific Tillotson question. I looked around and found adhesive at an auto paint store that is safe with fuel.

Where the hose connects is a 90deg elbow. The elbow turns freely. It also leaks fuel. If I add epoxy, will it solve my problem or break off and leak again eventually??? TIA.

What I did was look around for an engine with a similar piston diam and go with that. I recently got a generator with a chinese motor. Being they don't sell parts for it, I measured the cyl and did what I said. It worked. Same for my 70's FS80. ps. is the motor a HH or HM? I remember a catalog...

Kind of a tangent but being cali and others are banning gas mowers, what electric mowers do commercial mowers have to pick from? I mean Greenworks mower??? Commercial??? They would probably go through 3 each season.

If money is your issue, you could just make yourself one. I mean a paint can, drill 2 holes - 1 for extraction hose, 1 for vacuum to suck the oil out into the paint can. You can get fancy and get 2 rubber grommets for the holes.

When it DID run, does the pull cord feel the same or do u find it alot easier to pull now? With the low compression, and if it was harder to pull when it ran, maybe some dirt is holding the valve open a hair lowering the compression?!?!? Take off the cyl head and see if the valves are totally...

True. Just look at a plastic gas can when temp drops 20deg or rises 20 deg. The gas can shrinks or bulges- that would vent or draw in air if it wasn't air tight.
