I've learned that the ethanol is good for 30 days, then it starts accumulating water to it, on the gas tank walls. If i get a tractor in, I drain the gas tank, first thing. It usually cures the problem.

I don't know for sure, but there is a very tiny number on the pulley, but it's on the bearing, so i don't know if that would help or not? I'm thinking that it might be just the bearing number.......

Like you said, without seeing it, the only thing that was different was the side lips were a bit shorter and was thinking that, when not engaged, the belts may slip off. It may come down to, trying it on, and hoping for the best. Thank you bertsmobile1.

Wow! I still can not find a pulley OEM :(

It's a 36 inch tiller that attaches to my John Deere 317 tractor, has 2 belts that engage the tiller, by a lever. What i measured was 3-1/2 inch pulley.... Wide, enough to accomodate 2 belts on the same pulley.

1.It's a 36 inch tiller. 2.Size of the pulley Measured 3 1/2 inches x 1 3/4 ID. 3. 317 John Deere. 4.No other numbers that i could find, this # is on a metal tag. 5. Roughly 15 - 20 years old, just guessing.

I have a John Deere pulley that i'm having a hard time finding, it's on a J.D. rototiller #F033J420911M, the pulley locked up, and shredded 2 drive belts on the rototiller. I have pictures of the pulley. Does anyone know where i could get one?
