How often have you removed the blower housing to make sure the engine cylinder fins are clean ? Cause an overheating issue could possibly cause this.

I test my 100% gas from my same gas station once once or twice a year. Just for my peace of mind.. It's extremely simple to test it.

This is my second Z with a FR651V, & I always start mine with low speed throttle position. & maybe 3/4 choke for a mili second. Actually I use one hand for the key, & other on choke knob. Second it fires get the choke off Fully.. Mine starts instantly. And I let it run slow for a few...

That's what the owners manual is for. And Armor-all has petroleum distillates in it & that actually dries out rubber.. I use a water based oil dressing.

IDK ? But have patched a neighbors deck with mesh & JB weld. Still holding up fine..

My former Toro 4260 had the hour meter behind the seat on R. side of the cross bar. Anyhow, that is the recommended service times. If you do NOT have hour meter, (Neighbors' base Toro has no meter.), I would judge bit by timing the mow. Then you can get an idea of what the hours will be...

Well your rings are not fully run in yet. Also make sure also your oil level is not overfull. No hour meter, I always do an early oil change. About 10 hours. Then once a year or about 50 hours a season. Guess you could time a mow, & figure it out from there. I do my oil / filter changes...

My 651V calls for same amount, but I only get in 2 quarts & it's fine..(stock size 49065-0721 filter),.. I run the left rear wheel up on a 2x8, drain is on opposite side, so the oil will gravitate over to the drain. Once drained get off my block, plug it, fill it, run it 3 minutes, stop, wait...

Welcome Aboard - Yes, normal. get off the choke as quick as possible, it doesn't need a lot. I use one hand on the ign key & other on choke knob. If not I can get a slight puff too @ cold start up, on my Kawi 651V.

On my trees, I dig around the base, so I can cut it below grade.. Then back fill over w/dirt & gone..

Welcome Aboard, If you can, remove battery & local Auto Parts stores can "|Load Test" it FREE. I've had batteries that had great volts, but failed on Amps. & If it is removed clean the battery cables for good connections.
