Home made mower deck side guards

I didn’t want to drill holes in the side of my deck so I bought 1” wide aluminum and applied it with double sided tape.
I bought the 1”x1/8” thick 48” long aluminum flat bar and the Gorilla Heavy Duty mounting tape from Home Depot
I cut 2 strips 13” long and beveled the ends, I pre-bent the flat bar so it would fit the contour of the deck.
It didn’t take that long to cut, bevel the ends and install.

Nicely done. Mine scrapes by the retaining wall of my rock garden and scratches the paint off. This looks like a great mod. Thanks for sharing, and welcome.
