Do you have a picture of the Sensation mowers? What's special about them?

Hey I thought I remembered that name... They were a nice well made cast aluminum body with very basic light weight maneuverability in it's design... Here is a video of one this guy has repainted... IF this is the model oldfatguy is referring to...

yes that's it, I have two a 18 inch and the 20 inch , out of all the antique mowers that I have those two get the most use. They have a nice thick cast aluminum deck that will last for ever. The bagger attachment is rather hard to find it was a metal frame with wire screen sides that fit on the pin over the chute. In 1970s they were one of the better made mowers out there.

I watched the video -- thanks KennyV.

I happened on this video of a 1937 Jacobsen -- almost all original. And, yes, it's a two-stroke.

Thanks for the reminder of how "handy' the loose rope pull starters were...:laughing:
I do remember the first time I came across the auto rewind recoil starting rope system... I thought it was almost magic....
I just LOVE you tube... you can sure burn a lot of time looking at things... Everything can be found there. :smile:KennyV

Here it is my 1970 140 H1 that my grandpa used for 30 years and then decided he was ready for a new one. Thanks grandpa. The 80 cart is not mine but i do have a 54" snow blade for it as well.
