Needing a new seat

I have just recently bought a X485 mower and the seat is shot.
I realize John Deere seats are best replacements, but also the most expensive.
What is the best aftermarket replacement?

My go to is plastic fold down ski boat seats
A lot more comfortable than most mower seats, waterproof & more weather resistant.
Down side is you have to cut the base to fit a seat switch
I usually mount the seat to the old adjuster plate then fit a switch under the plate rather than inside the seat .

I found some really nice boat seats thanks to Bert's suggestion. And as Bert said they should be great in the weather and UV resistance.

And even better most can be reupholstered unlike the moulded covers on most mower seats

A lot of the cheaper aftermarket seats have a plastic shell. Is that a problem?
