I fitted some about 7 years ago that seem to be doing fine
OTOH make sure the seat is strong enough for you.
If you are a big fellow then a flimsy light seat will not cut the mustard
Down here seats have a weight rating so you can get the right one for you .

Down here seats have a weight rating so you can get the right one for you .
Yeah, that's the problem, I'm a big feller and I have my doubts about the plastic backed seats, so I guess it's $257.17 + tax at JD dealer.

Most I've seen are aluminum framed boat seats. No mention of the weight rating yet that I've read. They say they are sturdy. ??

I ordered a new seat from the local JD dealer along with a new sending unit for the gas gauge. Thanks for the responses.
