I live on the corner with only one neighbor on the south side of our place. We have a large wrap around front yard. Seems in this covid mess, everyone is walking their dogs. And for some reason, MY YARD is the new dog park slash crap zone. I like most of you guys spend in the low thousand dollars on yard stuff slash maintenance. I can even be outside in the front and people will still "allow" their dogs to drop me a gift on my lawn. Here in OKC it's supposed to be a $200 fine. What are you all doing to keep the "animals- people" and dogs away?

I've seen youtube videos using cayenne pepper and other citrus like scents to deter. One FABULOUS black woman said "she's done with dog sh_t". Those motion sprinklers that drench the owner and dog might be an option if they made a good one..... HELP!!!!!

Black pepper works good. Did it with our dogs that were crapping where we walk.
If that doesn't i will need to know.
Do you have access to a shotgun, Double 00 buckshot, and a shovel?

Saw on YT a guy was buying cayenne in bulk. As in 50lb drums LOL. He said it was only 40 bucks. Sign me up.

Two seasons ago I bought like 10lbs of cayenne off ebay. Stuff had no potent pepper fire to it. Gave it to the wife for cooking.

I think some form of HOT pepper, black or red flakes mixed in with some oil, on the stove to saturate might be a winner. Rain washes these scents away. That oil will allow to linger a little longer.

I wonder if one of those Ultrasonic animal repeller would work. Now of course if the owner is holding the lease then becomes an intentional thing.

Now I do have a neighbor 4lb hemorrhoid that I putting up a fence and an electric wire. I know that will at least keep him at bay along the property line.

i tried one of those ultrasonic repellers on mine before the black pepper, they'd look at it while they were crapping right in front of it.

There nothing like a good assessment of one. I had that thought here too; hence, the fence and electric wire.

I think the problem with them is they are simply too quite as the sound level got to be loud enough to be painful to get a response that is needed and once the animal is beyond simply reset to the next intrusion into the protected zone. Plus frequency got to be in the right range too. Its like those UV dye lights where they got to match the intended target.

If you know which neighbors are doing it, collect the "droppings", and deposit them on their front porch some night. That should give them a hint.

Put it in a brown bag, light it on fire and ring the door bell.

Leave the droppingS with a message. "I wanted to return something you left in my yard" signed; 'Tired of being Sh$t on'
Also, put sign in yard warning that security video footage will be used to prosecute, then follow through.

A little girl down the street made a sign for her yard that said "Please pickup dog waste". It was made of cardboard and a stick. See if that works. Go from there.

Level 2: sign that tells them where to get waste bags.

Good luck.
