That is the same reason I had a contractor doing my work. The whole job is taken care of. From permits to hauling away. It took the contractor two days to install 13 windows. At my camp it's different. No permits or inspections. I don't know much about what I am doing so I learn as I go. For clean up I haul it to the back of my 40 acres into the deep woods where no one sees it but the wild life or someone hunting. On top of it all I enjoy doing the work.
We dont have any permits, or inspections, and we get a $500 credit on our light bill. We had the light co come out to do an (energy audit) and they said if we replace ours with more energy efficient windows we would recieve the energy credit. You guys might want to check with your local power provider for incentives.
