I don't know if you are old enough to remember the Rock Group Queen? and there song ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST. Oh well I guess it can join the Hustler ZEON in the wannabe yard.:smile:

Next thing. Mowers will have is built in wifi

(( racing is the only sport that you need two balls ))

Yeah I know the group. And I agree electric ZTR's have a long way to go before they are worthwhile in my eyes, even if I am mowing just my own yard! :rolleyes:

First electric rider I saw was in the early to mid 1970s. Was not a zero turn but a decent mower for homeowner use. My Dads best friend owned it. Cannot remember the name. Kennyv would remember I bet.

I saw a good sized tractor that was from the 70's that was electric. It was yellow and was branded as a GE.

The problem they have or that the electric ztr has is its cost against its productivity. The Hustler ZEON was something like $6000 and there wasn't a whole lot of hustler dealers would even stock the things, you could look at some pictures and if you wanted the mower they would order the thing. Cub Cadet already tried the Electric mower thing before and it flopped.

Maybe the OPE business is like the automobile business in order to keep from paying fines you have to try and produce something green. Kind of like meeting emission standards.
