Cooling fins were cleaned. Both sparks were verified. Do you have a solid fuel flow AT the carb inlet?

I checked the spark by placing the plug in the boot and then turning over the engine as I held the plug against metal. Good spark in both.

I completely cleaned under the shroud last year when this problem occurred. Plan on checking again.

How do you know it "overheats"?
